The Post-Screen: International Festival of Art, New Media and Cybercultures (PSF2016) is a biennial festival that brings together a number of experts from various fields of research and artistic practice to promote interdisciplinary discussion and the presentation of creative productions on emerging issues related to the use of screens and their influence on contemporary thought. The Post-Screen Festival 2016 is the second international meeting to take place in Lisbon and focuses on the areas of photography, film and video, closely related to the notion of post-screen, and seeks to generate a dialogue between the fields of art and technology through multidisciplinary studies that critically contribute both to research and artistic practice. The festival offers the public the opportunity to attend and participate in different cultural events, through a programme consisting of a group exhibition, a cycle of conferences, seminars, workshops, artist talks and book releases.
